Loyalty Program Integration

Allow your guests to learn the benefits of your loyalty program within moments of entering the room. The Intrigue HD solution can be integrated with any property’s IP enabled loyalty program. One click sign up from the television can be enabled and special offers for existing loyalty members can automatically be sent via the Intrigue message center application. Our integration even allows guests to purchase movies and other items on the system with their earned loyalty points. Our back-end management system keeps track of all buys and is able to send updates on points spent to any central loyalty system. Conversion of points is also handled by our management tool KoolCentral for reporting purposes.

High Definition Video On-Demand

KoolConnect features a full play list of Hollywood’s hottest hit movies from the best studios, sensual mature entertainment and unique High Definition content. Every month, KoolConnect places an enormous library of content at each hotel site to enable our clients to offer their guests entertainment to match nearly every preference. Each content item is delivered digitally with the ability to pause, fast-forward, rewind and bookmark purchased media for up to a 24-hour viewing window. In addition, all Hollywood studio movies include a complimentary preview on demand.

SHOUTcast Internet Radio

Now guests have the option of listening to their favorite online radio station from the comfort of their guest room. KoolConnect presents a unique music offering with the widest amount of music available from any in-room entertainment provider. Providing free access to the SHOUTcast Radio library of over 25,000 stations, internet radio is divided into multiple genres and filtered down to 320 stations that can be customized by region or even the clientel’s demographics.

Online Channel Manager Application

Make the most of your television free-to-guest (FTG) content by presenting it in the way your guests prefer. Whether you have a coax based FTG signal or an IP based signal, our solution can help manage all of the channels at your property. In order to cater to guest needs we have developed a powerful feed engine which allows Intrigue to tap into the national weather service. This allows us to provide guests with an up to date 5-day weather forecast based on the local area code of your property in real time. They will also have the ability to input their own hometown zip code or next destination zip code for a custom weather forecast.

Intrigue HD is a powerful marketing tool enabling the hotel staff to reach the guest 24/7. Enhance the guest stay and go green by digitizing your current in room compendium. Inform your guests by providing room service & restaurant menus, spa menus and information on other amenities. The Intrigue HD solution even allows you to include video for any service listed on the hotel’s promotional menu.

Guest Welcome Channel

Let guests know that they have arrived to your property with our guest welcome channel feature. When a guest checks-in, the KoolConnect solution receives a message from the PMS noting that the room is now rented. KoolConnect then turns on the TV and activates gorgeous digital visual moods – complete with music – that set the tone for the guest experience from the moment they enter the room. Moods can be fully customized to feature images selected by the hotel and can highlight the resort, local region and much more.

The beauty and distinctive character of Intrigue HD is evident at first glance and seamlessly blends with the hotel and in-room surroundings. When the Intrigue HD System is not being used, a screen saver is triggered that doubles as a high-definition art gallery. This innovative platform contains several galleries of high-definition images that cycle through on the television. Music moods are also available with classical, mellow or jazz music accompaniment.

Personalized Media Center

Want to listen to your favorite tunes while on the road? With Intrigue, enjoying your favorite music has never been easier. Because of Intrigue’s unique flexibility and ability to integrate with modern technologies, guests may connect their own iPod, MP3 player and more, and control all features from the television! Any guest room running the Intrigue system can be upgraded to this functionality with the addition of the optional Denon S-302 home theater system created specifically for clients in the luxury segment, KoolConnect has integrated Intrigue HD a DVD, surround sound systems and AM/FM stereo.

Message Display

In an effort to create a truly personalized guest experience, Intrigue HD can receive up to a 1,000 character message from the PMS system and allows guests to view personal front desk messages from the television. Messages can also be scheduled using our online management tool KoolCentral. This feature is extremely valuable for independent properties as it extends CRM into the guest room and allows you to promote high-margin amenities and services and entice the guest to leave their room.

Guest Check Out

Intrigue HD allows the guests to view their folio and check-out from their television. The Intrigue guest folio can be checked by the guest at any time and also supports multiple guests per folio. The folio can be integrated with over 15 different PMS systems ranging from SMS to Opera.

Interactive Program Guide (IPG)

With use of the optional interactive program guide (IPG) your guests can get access to hourly schedules of what’s playing on your hotel’s channel line-up. Information like channel number, call name, content listings by the half hour, short names and descriptions, and long name and comprehensive descriptions when the cursor is placed on the listing. The TV listing information is sent to the IPG over the Internet to populate the system’s database with the appropriate channel line-up and information for each location.

Daily Events Directory

Intrigue HD enables hotel staff to post daily events or concert information to every guest room via the in-room user interface. Information for the events board can be posted using the KoolConnect online maintenance tool KoolCentral.

Language Personalization

The menus on the Intrigue system are available in 4 base languages giving your guest the flexibility they need. Intrigue currently ships with support for English, Spanish, French and Japanese. Other languages including Arabic, Mandarin, Cantonese, Russian or German are available upon request.

Parental Controls

Designed and engineered to lock out unwanted content from a younger audience, Intrigue HD offers today’s parental guest an array of comprehensive blocking options. Movies can be blocked by content rating using a 3 digit guest assigned password.

Software Development Kit

The KoolConnect SDK allows hotels and 3rd party application developers to create interactive guest applications that can be accessed via the Intrigue HD solution. The tools provided can be used to integrate to proprietary in-house systems or newly created apps to leverage changing industry trends.
